As mental health professionals who bear the responsibility to protect and promote mental health and well-being of the society, we hereby recommend working on the following issues urgently:
 
1. Working on the prevention of unemployment
2. Educating each member of the society on mental health and well-being
3. Proper job definition in workplaces 
4. Providing job positions for individuals compatible with their training and skills
5. Appointment of managerial positions based on merit
6. Inclusion of employees in decision-making processes and offering proper reward for good work.
7. Establishment of humane working conditions in the workplaces including working hours appropriate to biological rhythm.
8. Screening and surveillance studies aiming to sustain mental well-being of workers 
9. Creating support and motivational systems suitable for workplaces
10. Standing against stigmatization of individuals receiving psychiatric treatment
11. A working environment that is sensitive toward the behavioral changes  of those in the workforce both managers, employers and employees.
12. Developing and implementing training programs targeting the improvement of communication skills for all those who are employed in the workplace.
 
There is no healthy and fruitful workplace without mental well-being. Let’s work for this aim together with all the counterparts of promoting mental health for all in the society.
